Whizzer, nothing should be added to the diluted Daconil since the number of molecules/ml of Daconil necessary to coat the spore attachment sites on the leaf surface is important.

I can't answer your question about Octagon soap and would have to do a Google search to find out and perhaps if you have time you could do that as well.

Thanks Carolyn. I had Googled Octagon soap and found an old mixture, but not sure if the formulation of the soap has changed since it is not widely available today.

Look forward to your returning after the upcoming surgery. Don't be anxious about it. I'm looking forward ( considering the alternative) to my third bypass operation in a few years. :)

whizzer, the Fels Naptha can be used in making an insecticidal soap -- I just don't know what the correct amounts are off hand. I think it might be on the labeling?

In any case, it's been discussed on the Organic Gardening forum in the recent past, so look for those posts.

(but don't add oils like some may suggest, just the soap)

I'll check the organic forum. I noticed some Fels Naptha at a newly opened Publix last week. Octagon is scarce here.
