This year was my first SFG. It was really slow taking off, but it finally started looking good. Almost everything has (or is) producing well. One huge problem: I have mildew (and now some other uglies that come along) on my melons, cucumbers, and all my squash and zucchini. I've treated it with some of the remedies seen online but probably not often enough. It's everywhere, but at this point the plants are still surviving and production is less. My main question is, even if it wipes out everything and I tear everything out, isn't the soil going to be contaminated everywhere with mildew spores? Help!!! Just when everything was going so good!
