Brown/Black Tomato Bottoms

I'm having a problem with my tomatoes this year. I live in Arizona and this year most of my tomatoes are getting green, then just before they start to get red, the bottoms become flat, brown, and hard. Don't know what is wrong. In previous years, I would get 2 or 3 tomatoes doing this. This year, I'm losing most. Can anyone help?
