you can purchase live spider mite predators which will help the problem....stop spraying and order the spider mite predators through Territorial Seed Co in Oregon..It worked for me

Dormant oil spray might work -- it used to be a heavy oil that would suffocate the plant, but modern versions seem to be closer to a summerweight oil. Light oils can be used on leaves without burning them, so long as the temperatures aren't high.

I've been using light oils here -- a soybean/clove/thyme oil mix, and Neem in water. I'm trying to alternate, and so far they seem to be keeping the mites down pretty well. The other thing I've tried to do is keep humidity up and spray the lower leaves with water on really hot days. Damage has been minimal, about the same as I'd expect from normal wear and tear; it used to be that I'd lose a quarter of each plant every time a heat wave hit. Pacific mite loves temperatures above 95... sigh.

Good luck keeping a lid on the mites. The predators are an idea, if oil doesn't do the trick.
