I think a fine net would be a good start. I did two things when I had the problem a few years ago. First, I watched the tomato plants closely and anytime I saw a leaf with a rolled up edge, i squeezed it...and inevitably squished the little green worm. I did this a lot!

Second, I put out a mosquito light (ultraviolet) and it attracted many moths, and hopefully the small ones that produce the tomato pinworm.

Of course, the problem with a net is that it isolates the plant from your fingers and your eyes...so make sure it's on really well with no gaps anywhere.

I haven't had a problem for two years now, I don't know if it was just luck or if my two solutions worked. I still keep an eye out for rolled leave edges, but the pressure is off right now.
