My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I would like to try SFG in the spring. I plan to get my area together and build the boxes before winter. What I am unsure of is if I should fill the boxes with Mel's mix before winter, or hold off and fill in spring?
Kim, I only have one year of SFG, but I think I'd wait until spring. We have a woods behind us, and in the three months since I harvested my garlic, I've had a lot of weeds sprout in that bed. I need to get it spruced up before planting more in October.
