That is where we had to turn around. I am just glad that you got home safe.

My goodness! It took us three and a half hours to get to Memphis from Lewisburg but nine to get home! Briges washed away, we sat on forty for hours and hours. We got detoured all over Tennessee. I hope all you folks are safe!

This is all just heartbreaking. We're in Thompson's Station, up on a ridge, so all our damage is to a little bridge and our road . . . NOTHING compared to what so many people have suffered. Our church sanctuary flooded Saturday; after many hours of clean up, it flooded again Sunday afternoon, so cleanup was abandoned till today.

I got "recalled" to the Base Police on Saturday right after the plant swap was finished to "assist in the recovery efforts".

The whole way out to Millington I was thinking to myself "it's just a little rain"... How WRONG I was!

Well anyway, by now I'm sure you all know what happened out there.My building was one of the worst hit and was under 6 to 8 feet of water.

I've been working 12-on /12-off ever since. thankfully I only had a 10 hour shift today and tomorrow is my first "day off" since then.

Got a 12 hour shift Wed., Thur., & Fri. and then I get to return to my regular Command to get our specific IT systems back online.
