I just thought I'd share this with those of you in Middle TN. I went to the Cool Springs Lowe's yesterday (and again this morning, couldn't get enough LOL) and at the very back of the plant section, they had about 15 racks of perennials on clearance for $1.00,$.50 and $.25, most still labeled. I am not kidding that I bought about 70 plants total, people were staring at my cart :-) I should have a ton of dianthus next spring, and also bought a ton of columbine and coreopsis amongst other things.

If you're not in the Nashville area you still might check out your local Lowe's since they may likely all be running similar sales.
