I have my first blooms from my amarcrinum, they are red.
I was looking at your pictures and wondered if I would get more blooms if I separated the bulbs. I have a rather large clump, but only one stalk. Yours is beautiful!

This is my first. It was one bulb. One HUGE bulb.

I plan on mulching it over well and leaving it in the ground. Maybe next Fall I'll dig it up and see how well it's multiplied.

My clump has quite a few bulbs, maybe dividing them would produce more stalks. I do remember the bulb being quite large.

Well, I noticed last night that mine is putting up a third bloom stalk.

Daisy the red ones seem to be fairly uncommon. We have one and I've had hundreds of folks wanting me to split it with them. You could be a very popular person at the MTPS in October!!!
