Hi, I have never been but there is a nursery in Jackson, run by I think her name is Rita Randell or Randall, she is always mentioned in our garden section of the paper, she is a guest speaker for different garden clubs.. I think I have seen her/family's nursery on the Volunteer Garden show. I believe all this is right. I have wanted to go for along time, but just never have! Might be worth a try. You can probally do an internet search for the address and directions! Jenn

I believe her name is Rita Randolph. She has a nursery with lots of tropicals across the road from the Jackson Experiment Station. Cool stuff. I met her once.

Randolph 's nursery is on Hwy 70W toward the airport. (If you get to the airport you've gone too far.) from I40 go south on the 45 bypass to Airways Blvd. Turn right and go approx 5 miles (mileage is a guess.) The nursury is on the left. It's a great place. Also just south of the interstate on Hollywood is Morris nursery. Follow hwy 45 to the south edge of town to see Four Seasons Nursery. Take hwy 45 north to Three Way and find Dutch Gardens on the left. These are my favorites in the Jackson area. If you like daylilies there is Heavenly Hill daylilies on McLellan Rd. His daylilies are just now coming to full bloom. It should be a good time to shop. The Experiment Station on Airways (you'll pass it on the right just after you turn on Airways toward Randolph's) has a display garden that I enjoy, although it will not be at peak flower until the middle of July. Have A good time in Jackson. It's a nice place. We liked it enough to move here 9 years ago.

Thank you so much for all the info. I was beginning to think there wouldn't be any nurseries, and now I have enough to take up most of a day! I've been driving past Jackson on I-40 for years. It does look like a nice place, and certainly growing the past few years. Thanks again for the info.
