Sure, I've grown soybeans. I got mine from Evergreen Seeds (Evergreen Y.H. Enterprises). They only have an ok Garden Watchdog rating (16 positives, 2 neutrals, 4 negatives), but I've had no problems with my orders. Another place I commonly buy from is Kitazawa Seed Company. They have a perfect (all positives) Garden Watchdog rating.

I haven't tried enough varieties to really be able to recommend one. Have you tried on the Asian Vegetables Forum or the Vegetable Gardening Forum?
