What are you looking for, stuff that blooms in the fall? Pretty fall foilage?

My latest wild hair is to plant a late summer/early fall garden. I would like to have a garden that is looking fantastic when other gardens are starting to go down. Some of the plants I've been thinking of are Coneflowers, Black-Eyed Susans, Russian sage and ornamental grasses. :)

autumm crocus, autumn joy sedum, asters, blanket flowers, lantanas, pincushion flowers and just like Connie said..cone flowers. There are several wonderful things that blooms until frost.

I'm going to assume that Deb was talking about a vegetable garden. One good source of information about what vegetables do well in a fall garden around here is the UT Extension Service's publication, Growing Vegetables in Home Gardens. Look particularly at the chart labeled "Guide to Fall Vegetables".

You are certainly welcome here in the Tennessee Forum, but, just so you will know, the forum that is supposed to cover Kentucky (along with Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia) is the Ohio Valley Forum. I don't understand why they didn't give each state their own forum, but anyway. There are a couple of other KY people that use this forum from time to time. Lucky_P cruises through occasionally. I can't remember others right now.
