Hi!

I am brand new at growing tomatoes and just bought my first plants last week. We had a cold snap so I haven't gotten them in the ground yet.

Since I've had them home, one of the plants has developed these brown spots. It's only on one stem right now.

Can anyone tell me what this is please? Should I remove the stem or the leaves?

Sorry if this is a very obvious newbie question... this is all new territory for me.
