My wife and I just moved to Nashville last month from Texas. Love the weather here so much more than humid, hot weather on the gulf coast of Texas. I stumbled across this website looking for ideas on what to do with my patchy front yard. It is hard to wait until spring to work on the yard. I did notice theses white bugs on the Boxwood bushes and Crepe Mertles.

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the bud on the crepe mertles in my yard had some white butterfly looking bugs. Upon further inspection I noticed that that some other white bugs were carrying white cloth like substance down the stalk. They are gone but just curious if those a normal visit for these parts of the country. Any comments or ideas would help. Thanks!
