Instructions for clivia care are as follows: pot in regular potting soil, water well and place in full shade and leave alone until in dries out completely. Then lightly fertilize and keep in full shade. In winter bring indoors. Mine is place in an eastern exposure about 2-3 ft. away from door with sheer. Water once a month ONLY but they do like their leaves misted. I try to water the first of the month.
