I have a rubber tree that suffered about 20 times below 30 degree freezes this year before I dug it up after an 18 F night. The branches died, but it has already shot up leaves again. Is this unusual? I have heard of it resprouting in zone 9. I really think mine could survive to zone 8a, judging by the harshness of this winter. I am likely moving back to my home state in zone 8a soon!
