Hardy Hibiscus planting time

I posted this question in the Hibiscus forum a couple of weeks ago and did not get a reply, I thought some of you might help me.

I am wanting a hardy hibiscus, (not Rose of Sharon) and was wondering the best planting time, spring or fall.

I live in Southern Middle TN

Either is fine but planting it in early to mid fall (in this or warmer climates) will give it a head start on next year. If it's a container grown plant, it's not potbound, and you can keep it properly watered in its new location, you can plant it right now for even more of a head start. However, if you're transplanting it (non-container grown) or if it's potbound and you think you will have to work the roots when planting, it would probably be better to wait just a little while until the weather starts cooling off.

Donna, I bought a beautiful one today at Lowe's for 12 bucks! They had solid red and the white ones with the red eye. It was a 2 gal. pot! I'm planting it tomorrow.
