This is one of my street corner gardens. All spring a School Bus missed the turn and plowed straight across the plants. The 1st day he/she missed the turn was the day my 100 tulip bulbs that were planted there opened! 2 stakes and a few months later this is how everything turned out. the tall purple is violet queen cleome. There are also blackie sweet potato, salvia, lantana, 2 miscanthus (1 each side), and tricolor swt potatoes on the street side. It has really tuurned out alright except the miscanthus which are growing far slower than expected, maybe it is all that competition, oh well.
