I don't think it's either Colocasia or Alocasia. It looks more to me like some flavor of philodendron or some other aroid.

I really like this family of plants, very tropical and easy, could be treated like a canna, just need a LOT of water and fertiliser.

I have a c. esculenta, and while your plant is very young, I think I'd agree that it doesn't appear to be an EE at all. The shape of the leaves is totally different.
