We have been in the exceptional area for quite some time, but since Friday we have had over 3" of rain. All the trees, shrubs. and flowers look refreshed. Hope everyone received measurable rain too.

Since the downpour earlier this week I have pulled 9 severely burst green tomatoes off my 2 plants, but I still LOOOVE the rain! A few new blooms have come. Wonder if they'll make?

We finally got some rain here yesterday, and it was beautiful out this morning! The air was so clean and the temperature was cool. It was a really great day to work outside. Too bad my garden bit the dust some time back. The 110 temps did it in. I do have a new crop of green beans coming and my bell peppers, my very sad bell peppers, have made a remarkable comeback since the temperatures dropped back into the 90's. I will still get a few peppers off of them. Everything else is gone. I pulled the tomatoes up because they just looked more hideous than I could stand and they didn't really have any flowers left.

Things are looking a bit better for some of us. But ground water looks really bad.
