Bougainvillea (fresh cuttings)

Would any of you have any suggestions on how to keep fresh cuttings from bouganvillea from wilting? I would love to be able to enjoy the bright colors of the bracts or plant in a vase, but 12-24 hours after cutting the plant looks wilted. Could there be anything I could put in the water to keep this from happening?
