What kind of jasmine you looking for?

I have white, pink, and purple crepe myrtle seeds. I am hoping to have rooted ones by time for the swap.

Jeff, I have a volunteer crape myrtle in my way that I was going to dig out and destroy today. I will wait and see it you want it. Don't know what color it is--all of mine are pink, but I have had volunteers with all shades of pink and even a white one. My neighbor with a garden very close to mine has dark red and lavender. Who knows what this one will look like. It is about 3' tall. Want it?

Jeff -- I've got a hardy jasmine (confederate jasmine) that smells good but doesn't flower for long every year. I've also got a non-hardy jasmine (sambac jasmine) that smells great and flowers off and on throughout the year. And Laura (madmouser) has a non-hardy jasmine (night-blooming jasmine) that smells addictingly wonderful, and blooms occasionally at night. There are many other types of plants called "jasmine", some smelly, some not, some hardy, some not. Is he looking for a landscape plant or a houseplant?

BOV -- in that case, he's probably looking for winter jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum). It's a bush with yellow flowers, not too dissimilar from forsythia but blooming earlier in the winter. That's one I don't have!
