If you were several hundred miles nearer, you could have bunches of it. :-)) Be aware this is a very invasive plant. If you want it to *stay put* you're going to need to surround the area with sheet metal or similar at least a foot deep. In my garden, a small clump of it three years ago is now 9' x 9' square! I understand it's origin to be a Japanese Forest Plant. It does not look too great once the hot summer sun hits it thus better suited to a shady area.

I actually have the native coltsfoot(petasites) growing in my stream outside by my house. It never grew there before, then a few years ago it just starting popping up in the local creeks. Thanks for your help, but I want the MONSTER stuff for a nice shady boggy pond, where I have some gunnera, bamboo and Hedychium, and Musa sikkimensis growing already.

I have variegated petasites that needs to be ripped out and eradicated from the place I planted it (stupid me and fair warning to all of you).
Does anyone want some starts before I use RoundUp?
I would want $10 per box mailed to cover my time and shipping.

By the way, you can put the roots in a food processor and get 1000s of starts. ;)
