I SAW that story! I'm sure he/she is lost. I can't think that the cold temperatures are going to be good for its survival, and hope that an effort is going to be made to get it back to where it belongs before winter sets in.

I hadn't heard anything about it until I saw this thread. Gosh, the poor thing. No friends, no family, and cold to boot! They need to move it back to Florida, but I sure wish I could see it first. I must have been a skeptic since birth because when I was a little kid I thought manatees were just "another dinosaur hoax." I'm a little smarter now. I think they are fascinating critters.

Hi, forgive me for cutting in. We heard about the manatee here in western ARK. The last i heard no one had been able to find him.
Please tell me he was found and sent to Sea World.

Sorry, they never found him after the Sea World folks arrived. They hoped he headed south again.

Sad news. They found the manatee.
