I had several people ask me if I brought pics from the spring swap. I guess I tend to think that everyone has access to the internet.

I'm going to try and get together a bunch from all of the preceding swaps and put together an album to pass around in the spring. That's a bunch of printing to get done in the next six months....

Joe, how did you hide during the swapping part?? The only time I saw you with the camera was during Renee's talk. I guess I was too busy with plant lust to notice something like a camera.

Hello all my Dear Friends,

I've been trying to find the words to tell you how much your phone call meant to me the day of the swap. I can't really tell you other than to say a very humble "THANK YOU". You are my family and I have missed each of you so very much.
David's dad died last Oct(05) then we stayed with his Mom 24/7 until she passed away on Sept 02, this year. This was acutally a good thing, his mom was so good to me. I became a first time Grandma on July 23 and I'm keeping the baby Thurs thru Sunday because his Mom and Dad both work those days and just can't afford to change jobs to get weekday jobs. They both work for WalMart's big distribution center> Lynn is an assistant Coach(manager in our terms) and Douglas is working on production and making such good money that they both plan on staying there forever. Of course we all know how fast a 23 year old can change their minds! They've both been there 3 years. Unfortunately, in our small town, there isn't a nursery that is open on the weekends, so Grandma is their only option right now. Not that I mind now that the weather is changing. I just hope we can work out something before next Spring or I'll have a baby on a leash while I work in my garden, Wonder if that's illegal??? Wonder how soon I can teach him to pull weeds, not plants??? Is child labor a no no??? I'm sure if you asked any teenager this day in time, they would tell you that it is! He's so precious, all smiles and coo's this weekend. I'm hopelessly lost in that smile.

Jan, be sure to tell Jim thanks for the use of the phone. I know that you two are glad that canoe season is about over.

Our trees are just now changing into their fall wardrobe and boy are they pretty. Joe do you have any pictures of "Fall" in your area??
