MAGNOLIACEAE - Michelia alba (champaca)

I have a champaca plant about 12 feet tall. It looks healthy but it never had flowers. How can I make it bloom? It is located outdoors with full sun most of the day but gets afternoon shade. This is located in Zone 9.

If I need to feed it, what kind of fertilizer should i use? I appreciate any help!
