I'm here. Glad you enjoyed it and it bloomed so young. They do shoot up fast.
It is a wonderful smell. When I was growing up in Southern California we had a big bush of it by the garage. When we'd come home from someplace and it was blooming, my mother always said she knew she was home because she could smell the night-blooming jasmine. I've always tried to have one around so it smelled like "home."
I'll be wacking mine back and taking some cuttings to the FOG plant sale Oct. 22 at UT Gardens.

To tell you the truth, I'm a *little* nervous about what the smell will be like when the plant comes inside. I've heard it can be overwhelming! Of course I can always cut the flowers off if it overpowers me, but it'll be interesting to find out!

Mine STILL hasn't bloomed!!! :-( Laura gave it to me in the spring, too. I'm jealous!

The one I gave amazindirt was one left over from the spring swap. It was kind of neglected. Maybe that's the secret?
It does need some sun and regular water. But other than that, they're not fussy.

I sure would like to try this! I LOVE fragrant plants.

I took my Cestrum nocturnum indoors two weeks ago. It's been living on my desk in a pot with some coleus cuttings, a Moon Vine cutting, and Tradescantia "baby bunny bellies". It's been blooming for a week now! It's not overwhelming at all - it "puffs" at me now and again, which I like. The first couple of days, the blooms would only open when the office lights had been off for about 3 hours, but now they stay open all the time. Neat.
