I originally posted something about this in the perennial category. I was wondering if anyone has had luck with any Penstemons that are native to the western states. I adore hummingbirds and I know they like Penstemons. I am less than thrilled with the color choices of our natives. I love the vibrant colors of the western varieties. They do not like too much moisture though. I have wintersown a number of varieties this year. Any varieties or tricks to keeping them happy would be greatly appreciated. Susan
