I know what you mean! I do the same thing.

You could always save the extras and swap them. That's what I did last year.

Yup, bring your extras to a swap (LOL, hint hint), or donate them to a local community garden or school garden project (with Trudi's website attached, of course!). Beautify your street, put them by the road with a sign "FREE to good home," hand them out to your neighbors and family (even if they turn around or cross the street when they see you coming with jugs in your hands), leave them by your co-workers desks/cars/cubicles. . . .

Too many seedlings? Nah!

Bring your extras to the spring garden swap!

I started winter sowing last year and I put a large clear plastic bag over the flats. It was easier than Saran Wrap and tougher.

I know what you mean about having enough plants though . . . .

I take extras to the swap also and then if I still have some left over I sell them at a local plant sale. I have already had requests for plants for this year.

I make enough to buy more soil for the next year.
