Girl I hear you! I have plants blooming in the house that need to be doing their thing outside. Even my dwarf Calliandra is blooming. I have 4+ flats of seedlings that need to go out and get hardened off along with other seedlings that have gotten so big I have had to repot twice already. Salvia praeclara is already nearly 8 inches tall and desert willows all need to be repotted. The abutilon pictum has reached the ceiling twice already and had to be cut back. Abutilon 'Thompsonii' has been blooming for at least a month...yes I am still playing with plants that have no business being grown here....I should be living in a glass house!

Lol! I know it is driving me crazy!!
I try to remind myself that at least spring never really started, because those freezes down south really ruined a lot of flowers like some people won't see irises this year.

Remy & Penny, I think we started it all with our planned trip to the Botanical gardens in October. I've been afraid to suggest another get together.

Ain't it the truth! Have you all noticied that each storm has been confiugred around a holiday of sorts...Oct was Columbus week-end, Feb. was Valentine's day, March was St. Pat's day, April was Tax week end. I am afraid to thing of what we are going to get next. I have all these seedlings, cuttings and overwintered plants saying "LET ME OUT"!

Yeah, this really stinks! I started seeds indoors and was hoping to be able to start weaning them to go outside, but not in this weather! I'm ready for spring and summer.

I have aproximately 195 seedlings and rooted cutting plus my overwintered plants that I am trying to keep going right now. If the temps will just hit the 50's with sun I could put most of them out at least on the porch. I also have at least seven or 8 other containers with mega seedlings that need repotting but have run out of room for any more individual containers....I need a greenhouse! I am probably going to start losing some of these pretty soon if we don't get some warmer weather.

I thought I was crazy with all my tomato seedlings : ) I bet it will get nice once this rain is done. Oh, I did start a few warm climate flowers inside too like Snow Nymph Salvia and Cup and Saucer vine, but they are still small.

Hi everyone, I guess we are all in the same boat!!! I have seedlings every where, I'm running out of windows!!! Tomatoes, peppers,flowers every where. I Have a small greenhouse but its to cold to use it , unless I crank up a electric heater and I can't justify doing that... Maybe by the end of the week it will be better. I hope so because if not we might have to build an ark to get to the mailbox!!!

Most of what I have started inside are salvias coccineas, saliva greggiis, Salvia praeclara, Salvia darcyi, Salvia guaraniticas, 2 different agastaches, cupheas, desert willow, Coral bean, Hamelia Patens and a bunch o tender stuff. This stuff would have taken donkeys'years to germinate or wouldn't have germinated at all this year if I had wintersowed it. I just kept them all misted with aspirin water and had great indoor results with this little guys but now it is past time for them to get ready to go out into the cold cruel world and get ready to do the job they were intended to do and that is feed my hummers.
