Im sure it'll work out well and much easier to dig up in the fall, I grew mine in containers last year not buried but think you are on the right track.

I wouldn't put them out yet, they are very frost sensitive. Keep them in your garage for another month or so. They will not start growing until the soil is warm, so putting them out early will not get them started growing early, just leaves them susceptible to frost damage.

WEll Like I said I hope they Grow big. I hear they like lots of water so I hope planting them in the ground in a container will help keep hold better! As far as the frost goes they haven't started to sprout yet so I think they'll be OK! Will see...Thanks for the info....Wayne
