Oriental Lily Question

Hi,

At a nursery's open house a few weeks (probably a month or so ago), they had very cheap lily bulbs -- so I bought a lot of 'em. And, despite the very best intentions I had, they have sat in a plastic bag, but open, since then. They don't seem to be sprouting, and they are not mushy -- would it be worth it to plant them, or should I just consider this another sunk cost to my procastinating ways?

If I do plant them, is now the time? I am near Syracuse, west of Syracuse, near the city of Auburn.

Thanks,

Catherine
