Nice forecast - HOW close are you to Binghamton?? Pray some of that weather our way, too! I've got lots of things just WAITING for a little warmth to leap into growth and bloom.

Wayne is between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. You should be due for some of this also. We had drizzle here yesterday but I was out there planting. I have so many things that still need to be put in the ground I am looking forward to this week end. The is the first year since I moved to NY that I have had to wait so late to do most of my planting.

Yes, I finally looked at our forecast - looks like we'll get the heat too. My husband is now motivated to get the A/C put in ASAP (getting an A/C was almost a condition for us getting married, since I informed him that no A/C = nasty, cranky wife; his parents gave us an A/C as a wedding gift ;-), but he'll have to ask a friend to help him lift the units this year.

The cannas I planted should LOVE this heat. I'll have to keep an eye on the WS sprouts I planted out to make sure nothing bakes to a crisp over the next four days. I think I can finally plant out my salvia 'Victoria,' and the few other things still sitting out in jugs waiting their turn.

If the kids make us crazy enough, we'll drag out the inflatable pool and set it up, or be lazy and just find the sprinkler. . . .

My cannas and salvias went in the ground yesterday and today. I still have way too many salvias and agastaches to plant along with 8 more fuchsias
