Take them in and drain them prior to storage. We constantly have to deal with rotted hoses on landscape jobs, and leaving them through a winter or two is often the cause for the stuctural failure.

Mowing over them doesn't help matters much either...

Thank you....that's pretty much what I thought.

For years I dutifully picked the soaker out of the bed, drained and stored it. It finally needed replacement and I ended up spending $7.00 for the new one. Since I hate, hate, hate to fool with it, I leave it out in the winter now. A small price to pay.

Of course if I had an acre's worth of hose, well......
