Here are some pics I managed to take while fighting off a swarm of mosquitoes.

Kudos on a super landscape. Those don't happen by accident. Thanks for sharing.

    Good luck with them skeeters.

I see your kitty wanted in the picture, while checking his domain.
    Wow, a big fat caterpillar.

Very pretty, Pepa. What's the name of that orange salvia? I really like that.

Jim did you visit my albums? Sage album? I'm afraid I don't know the name. I grew it from seed a few years ago when I was doing seed swaps. I neglected to write down the name. It is starting to spread in my front yard but it's not invasive. I can send you some seeds if you want.

Pepa, I did visit your album. Great plants! You have mail.

The 'orange salvia' in Pepa's yard looks like a plant I have that I've never identified. It has square stems and little round leaves that don't have the sage scent. It swoops and mounds like a firecracker fern, but is not ferny. Anybody got any ideas? I tried to take a picture, but it was too dark. Will take one tomorrow. Jolana probably already knows what it is. She's great at identifying plants! :-)

I can't tell if this same plant pictured above, but would like an ID. Does anyone know what it is?

Pepa, does it look like your plant?

    Thank you!

Pepa, I love your pics and your entry, especially the cat, lol

Roselee, you are sweet for saying that. I wish it were true, lol
If I could just retain everything I read.

Here is a link that is a fun read plus it might help with your id

Thanks again and I hope it helps

A type of Russelia, mine is russelia sarmentosa. I think yours may be russelia rotundifolia. The leaves are rounder and smaller on yours and the flowers are brighter they dont have the dark at the base. Mine is allready about 5 feet tall. Does yours stay small? wanna swap? lol

HAHAHA, sorry, I forgot the link but it has already been id ed

Here is a link that might be useful: russelia sarmentosa

Been out of town for a couple of days and just got around to reading this. Thank you both for the ID and thank you Jolana for the link. See -- I knew you could do it.

Mine, the russelia rotundifolia no doubt, stays small. Would be happy to trade. Let me see if I can get some started by digging some little rootlets. It's hard to dig though since I planted it in unimproved VERY hard dense ground by my neighbor's drive way -- which tells you something about it's tenacity.

Or I might try rooting it upside down -- hmmm (Read the link that Jolana gave :-)
