After more research on this topic I found that this liquid is sometimes called Leachate, and is not all that great for plants. Becasue it was not processed by the worms, it may have bacteria in it that you don't want feeding your plants. I think I will dump it unless somebody convinces me otherwise.

I seem to be draining about 1 lt from my Worm Factory every 2 weeks.

I put this in a 9 lt watering can and top up with water. I trialled this on half my strawberries, while just using water on the other half.

The worm ones are a better heathier looking plants, no doubt.

But generally beleived not overly benifical I would have no problem with dumping it on an outside plant

I don't have a lot of it but as soon as the average daily low temp rises above freezing I'm going to dump it in my outdoor compost heap and see what it does.

I put torn cardboard/egg cartons in the catch tray. This bedding soaks up the leachate and provides shelter for any worms that fall into the tray. Every few weeks I dump everything into the main tray and start over.

I vote for plumiebear's method of cardboard/egg cartons then put back on top of the bin.

Alternate would be to include this cardboard/egg cartons in the bin to begin with so no liquid ever drips.
