May I ask why everyone has gone to the garden forum?

A good portion of the frequent posters didn't like the change in terms that IVillage incorporated so they left. Most of us followed. I don't have a problem with a company making money, but legally taking the contributions, including photography of others without at least acknowledging the author or photographer is wrong.

I'm not saying that what I contributed to this forum is worthwhile, but I would hate to be unable to freely give this information or my own pictures to another site, person, etc. and then later be accused of copyright infringement because I posted it on the Garden Web forum.

if you folks who seem intent on sabatoging the GW forums really "understood" the "new" terms, which specificaly say "non-exclusive right", you would know that this is nothing new on the internet - anything you post on any public forum becomes the property of the site you posted it on ["gave it to"], and if you later decide to use the identical info elsewhere no one can object to that - you also cannot object to anyone on the internet scooping something you've put in the ether and using it for their purposes, short of being able to legally prove you created and copyrighted it previous to their use - iVillage just happens to be professional enuff to have a legal dept that wants things spelled out, they ARE NOT copyrighting your info, they are telling you they have the legal right to use anything you post here as they see fit, same as your new site really

anyone who is paranoid about a site or individual "stealing" the fruits of their precious mental labors should not be posting it anywhere on the net, especially w/ things like google image search around

Cheryl, the mushrooms and fungus in your bin are simply an indicator that the conditions that are conducive to worms thriving, are also conducive to most fungal organisms, which particularly like the steady high moisture and relative darkness as well as the coll temperature

if you keep the 'shrooms picked and broken up they'll supply more food for the worms, same as the fungal growth around the edges of the bin
