I do not know whether butterflies often drink of it.
If you have observed that they do,
and if your plant makes abundant flowers,
then I would like to grow it.

I will be pruning it again later after flowering; with the extra cold weather we are having it should flower more. Zone 9 is not quite cold enough for it to bloom well. I would be interested in your Mexican flame vine. We could trade later in spring. LMK
