Baby worms turn pink very fast.
Sounds more like you are seeing pot worms. Fish love them.

"baby" worms look just like adult worms, but a lot smaller with no clitellum [the raised band on sexually mature worms]

I use a big Zibloc bag in which I put some compost. I place the compost At the bottom at the opposite of the opening. I layer it on the side. I made a gentle pressure with my hands so that the two opposite sides wall of the bag are in contact. Close the bag neck at 95%. Let stand overnight. The next morning, worms that have felt the reduction of oxygen to the opposite of the opening will slip between the sheets of plastic, heading in the Area close to the opening. The compost must not be too wet to avoid the formation of anaerobic bacteria. After the harvest, let the compost breathe all day to keep it viable. You have several days of harvest to come. The eggs will hatch, which will produce for 3 weeks. Make 2 or 3 of those bags to avoid overconsumption. If a bag seems no longer to produce, wait for other births to occur or repeat with new compost. Voila!

Baby baby, freshly hatched, redworms, by the way, DO look very like pot worms, but they have a tiny little flash of red blood down the center. :)

Thanks for the Ziploc bag trick, I'll give that a try. I certainly have enough of them in the bin that I could just keep changing the compost in the bag as they slow down.
