cembh, I haven't grown them all, but my feelings on that are Akatsuki no umi, and Shiruki'ao. One is dark blue, and one is light blue. They take you breath away, especially when it lightly rained on them. :) Arum

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the holder here...I groove out on the spoke flowers like Mount Fuji and the Youjiro cultivars of Japanese Morning Glories. I have posted a bunch of pictures I took of the JMGs I grew over the past couple of years in the gallery section of the vines forum if you want to see them.

O my goodness Joseph, they are BEE-U-TEE-FULL!!!!!! :)

this picture alittle blurry but these my favorite.

It's dosen't look blurry, it looks like special effects. :)

I like the striped one the best I think. But the blues really do stand out!!

Which one is That ronnie17? It's FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Most morning glories have a huge wow factor. One thing you need to consider is, do you want one that will wow from a distance, or will one with a subtle beauty that is better viewed close up work in the area where you want to plant. I think the best one I grew at my previous home was "Blue Star", an Ipomoea Tricolor cultivar. It was huge and covered with many blooms over a long period of time. It was a traffic stopper.

Ninecrow I believe that one was marked 'Shibori'

Thank You ronnie17 *Smiley*
