The new house (with the neglected yard) *supposedly* has wisteria growing on the fence. The foilage looks like the photos I've looked up, but having zero experience with wisteria I'm uncertain. As far as what flavor it might be, it apparently is deer resistant as those giant four-legged rats are more plentiful than squirrels in this neighborhood, and they haven't touched it.

Anyway, it didn't bloom this past year and I'm hoping to get it to bloom tnhis year. I understand I need to prune it back in early spring, but how early is too early? We've had 50-60 degree weather here and I'm itching to work in the yard.

Any other wisteria advice?
