Therapeutic worms

After an emotionally difficult phone call, I find checking my worm population to be very soothing. Probably not for the worms, though.

Maybe this could be my business model - bring a small bin of compost worms around to the hospital for people to play. The upside would be that I bet that hospital food would break down super-fast. ;-)

Jen, I know what you mean about checking the worms. It's like watering with the hose, or just checking the yard to see what's growing and what's not--it seems to be a respite from the daily stresses, a little connection with nature.

However, I doubt your idea would fly at the hosptial. I've heard of therapy dogs, but not therapy worms!! LOL!
