HOWEVER ... I did a google search on key words "panel worm farm" and didn't find anything.

I found a reference, someone was asking to buy one on craigslist. It's probably that persons description for something we know by a diferent name.

It's certainly not something I have come across before, and I have been doing some serious searching and reading of all things worm farm related over the last 6 months.
