Thanks! Someone contacted me through the map, but I am not a member of the site, just logged onto the map. I tried to answer, but the moderator seems to not be accepting new members, and the map is down so I can't change my profile to answer the contact, so I guess I just seem rude!

Pardon my ignorance ... what is the website 'map'?

on vermicomposters.com, there is a map of those who have worm bins. I put my name up there once, since I was the only person at the time in my part of the state. I felt lonely there, but now there is one or two others in the larger area.
There is a button you can click on to contact the person on the map with a pre-printed message, but the only way to respond is either through the site, which I am not a member, or by putting a response on your map profile. But the map is down. And I can't join the site since the moderator seems to be ignoring requests for new members.
Oh well.
