exhibitionist worms
hello, as part of an exhibition this summer, we'd like to set up a system to vermicompost the left overs of a vegetarian lunch for 6 people. the exhibition is open 4 days a week, and will run for about 6 weeks. I expect we'll have about 2 cups of usable scraps a day, 4 times a week.
we were planning on going with a few single rubbermaid bins. I'll be starting a month before the show opens to get them going.
what size operation should I start with to process this much food? how many sq ft of surface area / how many lbs of worms, etc will I need?
because of the time constraints, should we put the scraps through a food processor?
