With luck they are BSFL Black Soilder Fly Larve. They are getting ready to handle the extra summer zuchinni huges or tomato splits you can feed them.

If they look like big maggots then they are BSFL but if they look like a red wiggler but are solid white they are pot worms. Both are fine in a bin.

Since it's fruit-fly season, they could be fruit-fly larvae.
Pot worms are worm-like, hence pot worms.
