vine propagation

hi new to this forum,

was wondering if any of you experts/kind souls would care to give me an education on propagating the woolly morning glory/elephant creeper/hawaiian baby woodrose or more aptly Argyreia nervosa via cutting?

i have tried several times but failed miserably!!! i have tried with woody stems and herbaceous stems with 2-3 nodes and removed large leaves except for those about to form and pot them in soil/sand mixture. everytime they wilt on me. what did i do wrong? TIA
