I'm in OKC, zone 7, and we just planted a Crossvine this Spring in hopes that it will be evergreen (as it is supposed to be). It has beautiful orange trumpet-shaped flowers, and the foliage is supposed to be at least partially evergreen here. I know that it is definitely a perennial, but some of the leaves may die back in extremely cold winter temps. You might give it a try, though!

Wonder what the Temperature difference is from zone 6 and 7? Where i'm planting will be somewhat block fromt he wind. That might help?

if you're referring to the jasmine I posted ... it's good in zone 6 (and the warmer areas of 5. I'm putting it in a spot that gets winter winds whipping around and hope it'll do where the other jasmine won't. what I like about this jasmine is that it is evergreen!!!
