130° won't really accomplish anything with or without worms ..... higher temps [145° or more] can be useful to reduce weed seed viability and pathogens, but there isn't normally any pathogen problems with horse biscuits, and the worms would take care of them anyway - weeds will be the problem with it if the horse feed was average hay or pasturage

So, the vermic'post should be ok to use on edible crops but only because horse biscuits dont contain communicable pathogens ? Therefore the same would not be true with Pet, Cow, Pig or other manures ? ( btw I only use horse but have been offered other types so that is the basis for this question )

the primary concern with manures is the e-coli strain O157H7, which is found in cow manure, particularly when they're on a grain intense diet, as in some dairy animals - other farm manures are rarely problematic, and pet waste is most likely to carry over pathogens that can affect other pets, tho' some may affect humans as well

the good thing about worms is that they can neutralize pathogenic bacteria because bacteria is what they eat, providing of course that the castings are well processed

I don't use any pet or pig waste in composting, particularly because they're meat eaters and can carry parasites, but I've used cow manure in the past, and get a load or 2 of horse manure stable sweepings at least once a year .... I never worry about using it in the gardn, even uncomposted
