Yes, you can go to your local fishing store and pick up a little styrofoam container inexpensively. I think I paid about $3 recently. Get the red worms. You can start with one or two containers, and if conditions are right, they will reproduce quickly. Get some kitchen scraps ready to put in when you get your worms. Don't save fresh ones...the older the better.

Thank you for your reply. I am going to check my local bait and tackle shop right now! I have some cucumber peels from yesterday already burried in the bedding, and I am debating what to do about some fuzzy tomatos that I have in the fridge.

I bought 24 red trout worms for $2.50 they look like red worms, from a bait shop. the ones you get from the ground are not red worms I tried it already although if conditions are right they will survive. I have found worms that look red but are not stripped like the red worms, the ones from the ground eventually turned brown as they got older. I just started with the red trout worms and am hoping to get them to reproduce.
